Factory Defects Database

The Card Sensitivity Database answers what will this card do if I treat it? This one answers the question that comes first: is this even damage?

Every restorer eventually meets a card covered in what looks like grime, specks, or a bad cut, reaches for a solvent or a blade, and discovers afterward that they removed something the factory put there. The card was never damaged. It is now altered.
