Disney Lorcana Cards
Disney Lorcana is Ravensburger's first trading card game, launched in collaboration with The Walt Disney Company in August 2023. As a newer TCG, the game has undergone several print quality evolutions across its first sets, with collectors noting significant variations in cardstock, finish, and overall quality control.
The most notable cardstock-related change between Set 1 and Set 2:
Disney Lorcana uses a "cold foil" printing process where foil is printed over the card rather than printing on foil paper. According to co-designer Ryan Miller, this method "mitigates the curl effect" compared to traditional TCG foiling.
