Testing a homemade "Super Potion" polish made from a 2:1 ratio of Vaseline to Desert Essence Mega Mint toothpaste to reduce or remove minor to moderate scratches on the holo/foil surfaces of Pokémon cards. This method is adapted from common scratched CD/DVD/PS2 disc restoration techniques (toothpaste as mild abrasive + Vaseline as filler/polish). The experiment compares before-and-after visibility of scratches on treated cards, aiming for noticeable improvement while checking for detectability, residue, or damage.
