A Note of Thanks
What a day. On June 19, 2026, the card conservation community came together under one roof for the very first time at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. From the morning panels to the live restoration demos, the grading clinic, and Trade Night long into the evening — this event was everything we hoped it would be, and more.
Thank you to everyone who traveled, shared their knowledge, asked great questions, traded cards, and helped build something brand new. CCC was always meant to be community-driven, and you proved exactly why this matters.
This was Year 1. It was intentionally small, focused, and personal — and it's only the beginning.
The Event

Location: Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino (near the Las Vegas Convention Center)
The first event dedicated exclusively to trading card conservation, restoration, and grading education.
The Card Conservation Convention (CCC) brought together industry experts, creators, and community members for a full day of learning, trading, and connection — the day before Collect-a-con.

 Josh "Giovanni" Copeland Founder of CardConservation.com and host of the Cardboard Alchemists podcast. With 70,000+ followers across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, Giovanni has built a passionate community dedicated to preserving and restoring collectible cards. Based in Las Vegas, he founded CCC to bring collectors, restorers, and grading professionals together under one roof for the first time. |
 Sebastian Professional card restoration specialist and founder of The Poke Cleaning Shop based in Edinburg, Texas. Co-host of the Cardboard Alchemists podcast alongside Giovanni, Sebastian is known for meticulous restoration work and innovative cleaning techniques.  Mert "CharizardBaba" Pokémon TCG entrepreneur, content creator, and live seller specializing in vintage and modern card experiences. Founder of a successful online live streaming business and creator of TikTok's #1 most sold card cleaning product. Mert combines entertainment with education, sharing insights on building a trading card business and growing an audience through live content. |
 Matthew Musick Founder of Shiny Asset Exchange, a brand centered around restoration across multiple TCGs including Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, Dragon Ball Z, Digimon, and One Piece. Developer of the Hydro Pump and Fire Blast restoration methods — systems designed to address structural damage through controlled use of moisture, heat, and pressure.
